Sometimes things get bad; that's completely normal. When things get bad, you just have to pick yourself back up. Lately I've been trying to be more positive by spreading positivity. By spreading energy, it automatically reflects onto you. When I'm feeling lethargic, I look back on one specific memory that made me happy. One night, and by night I mean three in the morning, my night owl friends of mine and I decided to drive to San Francisco. Why? We have no idea. So much happened that night, but I'll just skip to the good bit. After exploring the city that, indeed does sleep, we sat on the beach for a couple of hours and watched the sunrise over the Golden Gate Bridge. I can't put into words how untroubled I felt for that short amount of time. None of us talked, aside from the small comments about how astonishing the sight before us was. It's not always about the most extravagant event that's happened, but sometimes it's the simple ones. This was easily one of my favorite and unforgettable moments in my entire life. Every time I look back on it, I feel so motivated and at peace with everything. Everyone deserves a moment like this in their lives.
